Scotch College '06 The Second Chapter

Far-off, enduring, tension, oppression would be the words that describe Term 2. 82 School Days! The longest in Scotch history due to the Commonwealth Games held in Term 1 which made Term 1 shorter but Term 2 painful. Thank God for Easter, we manage to have a short lil break but it didn't really help much because after Easter we had our biggest Maths Methods SAC. Term 2 would probably be one of those terms that I love being here in Melbourne. Winter = Soccer Season! Trust me it is impossible to get a 11v11 game in Malaysia in a high quality field and guess what? We do this every weekend! I managed to play for the 2nds this year for soccer and its a season with high quality play, great goals, great teammates and of course a great coach. We started our soccer season with a lost and after that we never looked back, we just kept winning until the last game of the season which was the best game I've ever played in my life and the score ended up 1-1 which was pretty disappointing after we dominated the game. Not to forget we had our House Choral Competition and once again Bond came 2nd last BUT in House Winter Sports Day we showed them who's boss. Bond kicked ass and came 2nd in the tournament but it didn't prove to be vital as we were trailing way behind the Cockhouse Cup. Wedderburn Cup Winter Season is held in Term 2, Sports such as Soccer, Hockey, Table Tennis and Touch Rugby kicked in. McMeckan showed their quality this term and came equal with School House for the Winter Season but was trailing by 1.5points due to the total of Summer and Winter points and we reckon we could take it home in Term 3.

Term 2 was also the mid-term examinations which brought most of the Year12s to a serious level and studying was #1. 3/4 Units Examinations was held during June 5-8 and it was the beginning of a really difficult year. Well of course there were times of mocking around, doing stupid things, having fun - *Louis Bashing.

* So what is Louis Bashing? Pretty much taking out all your stress and anger into our fellow Year 12 friend, Louis Cotroneo and see him retaliate and laugh our asses off.

Other stupid stuffs that we did was drinking in the boarding house and the risk of getting caught will prove fatal as we will get suspended from the boarding house and my parents will actually kill me.

Ah Hah!, The other major unofficial event was of course Scotch College 06 Formal! This has to be one of the funniest formal I've ever been to. Firstly, I did not go with a date because I cbf, May won't like it and it will cost heaps of $$. So I decided to go with Ben because he cbf to get a date as well. Haha. Ahh, and not to forget Marc Fong, his date Wei Lyn dumped him. *woospeshh*. Overall it was a pretty fun night, good food and of course lots of $$ spent. Sob.
